Evaporative Crystallizer

Evaporative Crystallizers are mainly divided into 3 Types of Crystallizers:

DTB (Draft Tube Baffle) Crystallizer 0.8 – 2.5 mm
OSLO Type Crystallizer 1.5 – 5.0 mm

Applications:

  • Nacl, NH₄Cl, (NH₄)SO₄, Sucrose
  • Waste water plants for chemicals / Pharmaceuticals

Cooling Crystallizer

Cooling Crystallizers are mainly divided into 2 Types of Crystallizer:

  • Vacuum Cooling Crystallizer
  • Surface Cooling Crystallizer

Application

  • For Separation of Na₂SO₄, KCl, MgSO₄, Dextrose Monohydrate, Honey etc.

Fractional Crystallizer

Fractional Crystallization can be carried out for crystallization of different inorganic salts in the same solution, e.g. salt lake water containing Na₂SO₄, NaCl and MgSO₄ can be separated by Fractional Crystallization via following steps:

  • Step One: By means of cooling crystallization at -2°C, the Na₂SO₄ can be crystallized out.
  • Step Two: The mother liquor containing NaCl, and Mg SO₄ can be fed to a forced circulation evaporator to crystallize out NaCl Salt.
  • Step Three: The mother liquor containing NaCl, and Mg SO₄ can be crystallized in a cooling crystallizer at -10°C.
