Evaporative Crystallizers are mainly divided into 3 Types of Crystallizers:

Cooling Crystallizer

Cooling Crystallizers are mainly divided into 2 Types of Crystallizer:

Vacuum Cooling Crystallizer
Surface Cooling Crystallizer

Application

For Separation of Na₂SO₄, KCl, MgSO₄, Dextrose Monohydrate, Honey etc.

Fractional Crystallizer

Fractional Crystallization can be carried out for crystallization of different inorganic salts in the same solution, e.g. salt lake water containing Na₂SO₄, NaCl and MgSO₄ can be separated by Fractional Crystallization via following steps:

Step One: By means of cooling crystallization at -2°C, the Na₂SO₄ can be crystallized out.
Step Two: The mother liquor containing NaCl, and Mg SO₄ can be fed to a forced circulation evaporator to crystallize out NaCl Salt.
Step Three: The mother liquor containing NaCl, and Mg SO₄ can be crystallized in a cooling crystallizer at -10°C.
